  • Abstract
Language understanding implies understanding of subject, verb, and object. The authors describe this as establishing the correct ´assembly links´ between pairs of words in the input sentence. Some experiments are reported in which a network with memory units learn to understand sentences by incorporating during learning various constraints which are activated by word order, morphology, and prepositional marking of nouns.<>
