Abstract
The ECG segment is successively filtered in the discrete cosine transform (DCT) domain using an eigen-filter with a selective spectral feature, to determine the J-point and the onset point of the ensuing T-wave. The slope and length of the ST-segment are read directly from the resultant filtered waveform
