Abstract
The author describes how she-as part of a design team-designed, implemented, and evaluated courseware for collaborative writing. She first gives an overview of the course, the courseware, and the use of telecommunications. Then she discusses how the project was implemented and the effects of the courseware and telecommunications on students´ collaborative processes, the quality of their final documents, and their attitudes toward collaboration and computer technology
