Abstract :
Flexible UFR Island to Prevent Black Out is modification on Under Frequency Relay (UFR) Island with using generator sensor to make scheme island operation as according to real time condition through Power Line Carrier (PLC). The goal is to Prevent Black Out, scheme island operation will change on real time condition as according to balance total active power of generator with total active power of customer Load in the island. Steam Generator Ombilin is dominant generator with 43 % total DMN (Net Capacity Power) all of generator in the same island operation. Success or failure the island operation depend from balance between available power of the generator and System Load. Availability of Steam Generator Ombilin influential on scheme island operation. In system operation impossible to change scheme island operation on real time condition in a short period. As according to facts, Flexible UFR Island is the best solution to solve the problem, because the modification can detect availability power of the generator on real time condition to create scheme island operation as according to balance between available total active power of generator with total load active power of customer load in a short period.
