Abstract
In this paper, we propose a pairwise key scheme in order to setup a secure link between sender and receiver in an ad hoc network. It is a reciprocal authentication among node communications. The operating techniques are inspired by the Shamir secret sharing scheme. The robustness of our scheme is based on the DH problem and the indefinite solutions on coordinate geometry. With our scheme, the sender and receiver can authenticate each other. And the pairwise key that they use can be verified and refreshed each session.
