Abstract
Our approach to describe the tuning states of a linear collider by a Markov model looks very promising. In the future, the model presented here should be extended so as to include information about other beam parameters, e.g., emittances, energy and bunch lengths, and it should be further developed to understand the impact of multiple subsystem failures
