The aim of our study is to measure the concentration of two important markers of airway inflammation: carbon monoxide from lower airways among active and passive smokers and nitric oxide from lower and upper airways with allergic rhinitis. Methods: meta-analysis of scientific literature about CO among passive and active smokers and research´s result of exhaled NO from upper and lower respiratory tract for alergic diagnostic. Result and conclusion: above-cited parameters of inflammation are the meaningful element of upper and lower respiratory tract disease diagnostic.
