  • Abstract
This paper deals with geometric properties of first order Hamiltonian systems in field theory. We focus on the physical system properties, especially on energy flows as well as on an adequate formulation of input and output maps including differential operators. The proposed machinery is demonstrated on modeling of piezoelectric structures and magnetohydrodynamical systems.
