Abstract :
A simplified model and equation set are presented to evaluate the current drawn from the ac-supply by a PDM ac/ac converter, consisting of a three-phase diode rectifier without smoothing filter and a series resonant inverter. The interest of this simplification is to make the control laws independent of the load resonance frequency, which results in less calculation. Quasi-optimal control laws and selective harmonic elimination laws are elaborated and their performances are discussed
