Abstract :
Taking Landsat5/TM images of 1988, 1997 and 2005, this paper used RS and GIS to analyze the changes of ecological environment effects of land use/cover change (LUCC) during the recent 17 years of the study area. The results indicate that: swamp land shows obvious decreasing trend and decreases 1674km2; dry land and paddy land shows strong increasing trend and increase 377km2 and 1338km2 separately. There is a small growth rate of woodland, waters land and buildings, 290km2, 47km2 and 32km2 separately. While, eco-environment effects evaluation by typical remote sensing index of LUCC has no significant change. Comprehensive evaluation results show that highly ecological quality area with quality scores between 7.6308 and 8.9825 accounts for a larger proportion, respectively 90.92%, 89.85% and 90.1% in 1988, 1997 and 2005. There is a slight decline in the eco-environment quality from 1988 to 1997 and comparable stable increase from 1997 to 2005. Eco-environmental high-quality zone, sub-high quality zone and medium quality zone show a decreasing trend, while the medium-low quality zone and low quality zone show an increasing trend during 1988-2005.The overall eco-environmental quality has changed little in the study area.
