  • Abstract
    The mode of the maximal undeformed chip thickness was constructed at the condition of small grinding wheel, big cutting depth and creep feed. Comparative experiments of grinding ZrO2 ceramics with/without ultrasonic vibration were carried out, circular arc grooves were machined on ZrO2 ceramics block. The experimental results have shown that ultrasonic vibration can descrease grinding force, ZrO2 Ceramics can be machined with more process remaining by means of creep feed ultrasonic grinding.
