Abstract
In this paper, Wang and Chen´s (1991) intelligent control using an adaptive neuron for hydraulic turbine generators is studied. With the abilities of self-learning and associative search, the neuron intelligent controller runs without modeling. Such a controller is very simple and almost has no parameters to determine. The real-time dynamic simulation results show its good performance. It is very convenient to use in practice
