  • Abstract
    A new family of spark-protected micropattern gaseous detectors is introduced: a 2-D sensitive resistive microstrip counter, hybrid detectors, which combine in one design resistive GEMs with microstrip detectors, and a microdot detector equipped with resistive anode and cathode electrodes. These novel detectors have several important advantages over the more conventional micropattern detectors and looks very attractive for applications like the readout detectors for dual phase noble liquid TPCs and CsI photocathode based RICHs.
