Abstract
This paper presents a framework for user centered system design (UCSD), in which tasks can be defined in the context of technology innovation management. One could then design more usable systems that effectively support management decisions. UCSD is a paradigm in the design of complex systems and interfaces where design parameters are governed, to a larger extent, by the organization of work around the system, rather than by the fundamental characteristics of the technology itself
