  • Abstract
A transconductor consisting of differentially-excited common-base and a feedforward emitter-coupled pair is presented. Simulations show over 40dB improvement in harmonic distortion for 80mV-pk input amplitude compared to a conventional differential pair, while offering 38GHz operating bandwidth, 45Ω (real) input impedance, and 3.4dB noise figure at 2.4GHz at 5mA bias current.
