Abstract
In previous works (1993), H2 and H∞ control techniques were used to regulate energy flow in a certain frequency band. In this paper, controllers are designed according to a specialised LQG positive real control approach that yields positive real controllers. Thus the resulting controller minimizes an H2 performance index and guarantees asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system in spite of the modeling uncertainty.
