Abstract
In this paper two stability criteria for general linear large-scale composite systems are given. These two stability criteria are only associated with the stability and system matrices of the subsystems of a given linear large-scale composite system as well as those interconnected terms among these subsystems; therefore, it is not necessary to find the Lyapunov functions of the large-scale composite and its subsystems for checking the stability of the large-scale systems by any one of these two criteria.
