Abstract

A detailed field study has just been completed by the authors in Indian context on the “Commercialization of new technologies-Practices and financial dimensions”. A large sample of 465 units having representation from all geographical parts of the country was used. A few case studies were also taken up for the detailed study of innovative technology based ventures success/failure. The paper makes an attempt at examining the state of the art and to present the financing of innovative technology-based ventures in an Indian context
