Abstract :
This paper proposes a dual-rotor hybrid synchronous motor as a solution for starter-alternator applications on vehicles. The motor duty performance is only presented. The analysis includes both experimental tests and FEM-based simulations. The results put in view some important advantages that recommend this solution as a promising one.
