Abstract :
In this paper, the model of SAR subaperture spotlighting processing algorithm is discussed. The paper proposes a novel method called phase alignment algorithm of subaperture reference signal. The algorithm adjusts the phases of the respective subaperture reference signals in order to make them in phase and constructs a new spotlighting window function for SAR imaging. Theoretical analysis shows that under condition of the same sample data, the novel method can increase SAR image area in azimuth dimension. The method is verified by the results of computer simulations.
