Welcome to Iaşi, to our time-honoured conference!

The EPE International Conference on Electrical and Power Engineering, started in 1999 and held on alternate years, is now reaching its 7-th edition, already being recognised as a distinctive landmark of our international scientific and technical community. This year the conference is also organized under the auspices of the celebration of 100 years from the foundation of University Electrical Institute, the first superior electrical study program of this type developed in Eastern Europe. Co-organized by SETIS, Alumni Association of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, the EPE Conference is already confirmed as an important event in the community of Electrical Engineering. The conference will attract a wide national and international audience from both the academic and industrial communities, more that 200 of researchers from 24 countries (spread on three continents) have already firmly confirmed their attendance and sent consistent scientific contributions.
