Abstract
This paper discusses the inter-relationship between R&D effectiveness and R&D efficiency. As one of the managing technology aspects, R&D effectiveness has been focused upon. Methodologies and skills are used to stimulate behavioral changes to position R&D as an equal partner for business. Technology management has been segmented into five domains. Managing business practices, managing potential and managing interfaces are also discussed
