Abstract
The dependence of impact charge on impact angle is investigated. The impact-contact process is studied by measuring impact force, contact time, and contact area when a particle impacts a metal plate. To give a general description of the contact-impact electrification of the particle, a model called the contact points covering model is proposed. It is based on the contact points covering factor, which is the ratio of the real contact area to the apparent contact area. Its correctness is shown
