Abstract
The variety of 32-bit architectures found in embedded applications today has made the selection of a new microcontroller a daunting task. The advantages of one architecture over another architecture can be a mine $eld of choices, that might come back to haunt the design team later in the design cycle. Knowing how to ask the critical questions is harder than just knowing what the questions are. The H/W and S/W teams must work together to ask the right questions correctly to get the highest quality answers j?om the microprocessor supplier.
