Abstract
The knowledge of the properties of an EEG signal related to a visual stimulus is of fundamental importance for reliable signal detection. The procedure described in this paper is based on a local stimulation of the retina by a linear frequency-modulated on-off sequence. The resulting deterministic response is analyzed by means of the Wood-Barry (1994) algorithm for the detection of linear frequency-modulated signals using the Radon-Wigner transform. Perimetric measurements are carried out up to an eccentricity of 30
