Abstract :
According to the fatigue test norms of the chain drive in ISO15654-2004, distribution law of fatigue life of silent chain has been studied based on fatigue reliability test of silent chain CL04T-9, used of the group method and the movement method. Relationship curve between the fatigue life and the load level corresponding to the different relative reliability has been established. The harmonic relationship of the group method and the movement method has been discussed through the comprehensive test. A useful fatigue test method of silent chain has been put forward. The result of research on silent chain fatigue reliability can be used not only to guide chain system reliability design in the main automobile factory, but also to help chain factory establishing fatigue reliability evaluation system.
