Abstract :
Based on the significance of the security to maintain the power line and means adopted presently, the paper proposed a new method for power line inspection which adopts the helicopter with an observation suspended bin. It discussed the functional requirement of the observation suspended bin, and gave the detailing. Inertial stabilization system is adopted to overcome the vibration of the helicopter, and the CCD sensor with high resolving power and high definition zoom is adopted to observe the target area. In the meantime, the high-speed electron tray is applied to do the real time recording, and we have the man-machine interfaces custom-designed which make the operating personnel handle easily on helicopter.
