Abstract
An 8-channel-2-GHz data acquisition system has been designed and implemented. It operates with an external clock and allows real-time acquisition. Measurements can be carried out up to 700 MHz with an 8-b/500-MHz analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The system has been implemented with GaAs monolithic products, on a multilayer printed circuit board with a matching microwave technique. The signal-to-noise ratio is computed by means of an FFT processing method. Validation at 2 GHz is demonstrated
