  • Abstract
In this paper, by the review of abrasive flow machining (AFM) and the principle of traditional process technology, a new polishing process technology about polishing internal surface of bend pipe, which is simpler, is developed. The turbine blade, which is a component of polishing ball, is designed and simulated by ANSYS-CFX (Blade Geometry, Advanced CFD and simulation). The flow of grinding media in bend pipe is also simulated by ANSYS-CFX. The simulation results show that the new polishing process technology is available.
