  • Abstract
The performance of code-division multiple access (CDMA) mobile communications systems operating with imperfect power control is examined. Exact upper and lower bounds are used to analyze the performance of a CDMA system in which the power in the multiple access interference has a log-normal distribution. The multiple access capability of a system with ideal power control is compared to the multiple access capability of a system with imperfect power control
