Abstract :
Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have limited resources and highly topological dynamics, and are usually deployed in harsh environment. In order to operate the whole network and application work effectively, WSN analysis and management become extremely important and vital. Until now, there is no universal network management architecture designed for WSN. The paper proposed a dynamic WSN performance analysis and evaluation platform (SPAE), which analyze, monitor, and manage the performance of the WSN simultaneously. Furthermore, as the specific characteristics of WSN, residual energy management is one of the most important factors in WSN management. The paper applied the residual energy scan algorithm in this platform. Finally, illustration of the platform was carried out in the real network with 30 nodes in the Campus Emergency Response System to verify the effectiveness and feasibility.
