Abstract
An attempt is made to determine how different physical parameters affect the magnitude of the slopes and the location of the breakpoint for loss in both line-of-sight (LOS) and in non-line-of-sight (NLOS). A model for NLOS propagation using piecewise exponential functions is also presented. Multiparameter regression with the squared error between calculated and measured loss as minimizing function is performed to give the optimum fit between measured data and model parameters
