Abstract :
A compact microstrip double pass-band bandpass filter utilizing composite right/left-handed (CRLH) transmission lines is designed, fabricated, and measured. Measurements are carried out using network analyzer. The bandpass filter has two centre frequencies of 7.05 GHz and 13.05 GHz, respectively. The simulated and measured results show that the proposed filter has low insertion loss in passband, compact dimensions, easy fabrication, and low cost. The novel measured performances of the bandpass filter based on CRLH are almost identical with the simulated results.
