  • Abstract
With the explosive growth of mobile Internet services, traditional wireless communication networks cannot meet the increasing demand of users. Broadband communication in high mobility scenarios leads to time-frequency doubly selective channels, and transmission throughput is even worse for the users on high speed trains. In this work, we propose a hybrid broadcasting and cellular network system for high speed railways. The converged broadcasting network and cellular network can transmit data cooperatively. We propose a pilot-aided channel estimation method based on time-frequency interpolation (TFI) and evaluate its performance by comparing it with other channel estimation methods. Numerical results are provided to substantiate our study.
