Abstract
RRC (root rises cosine) filter is widely applicable to shape the signal pulse in DDC (Digital Down Conversion). This paper research the theory of root rises cosine filter. Based on the more extensive use methods of local search algorithm and design filter, we go forwards a new method to design RRC filter. This method adopts combine of local search and the FIR structure unify to design the RRC filter by using Quartus IL Then we simulate the RRC filter in Quartus H. Simulation results show that the designed RRC filter is reliable. The method can save the filter design time and improve efficiency.
