Abstract
We show that tensor product splines form a suitable tool for numerical construction of parameter dependent Lyapunov functions to test the robust performance for systems that depend on time-varying parameters. Based on the excellent approximation power of this class of multivariate splines, we show how it is possible to avoid conservatism in the corresponding robust performance analysis test
