Abstract
Based on the linear correlation between the high resolution image and the multi-spectral image, the author raised a new fusion method in which the least square model is combined with the traditional color space transform fusion method. The result is evaluated by the correlation coefficient, the deviation index and information entropy of the fusion image. Compared with the original images, the results show that this method remarkably increases the spatial resolution as well as reserves the multi-spectral information to a large extend.
