Abstract
The fruitfly Drosophila Melanogaster has been subjected to electrostatic fields up to 500 kV/m over a frequency range from DC to 400 Hz. As the frequency is raised, lower voltages are required to produce a given response. To explain this an electrical circuit model has been proposed
