Abstract
Reports on an analytical study of the performances and behavior of a TCP connection, in the presence of exogenous uncontrolled traffic and random packet losses. Through a fluid analysis of the system, we study the impact of correlated and uncorrelated random losses, combined with exogenous traffic, and show their influence on the performances of the TCP connection
