Abstract
There are more subjective factors and their weights can not been accurately decided in evaluation of road traffic safety. In this paper, an evaluation indexes system is advanced for the city traffic safety continual developing, which includes safety policy for road traffic, circumstance of road traffic safety, management of road traffic safety and control levels of road traffic accident. Because a traffic system is very complex, it´s quite difficult to evaluate the traffic safety, we set up an evaluation system, and a judging matrix is formed by fuzzy comprehensive evaluation (FCE) based on numerous research works on road safety evaluation, the weights of evaluation indicators are determined by fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), and then a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model for regional road safety is established. Finally, the practically value of the study of the founded evaluation system and the evaluation model were proved by an example.
