Abstract :
Here we report a new generalized approach, based on method of moment, to the quantitative analysis of spectral/spatial properties of radio-frequency (RF) coils used in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). This method is especially powerful for phased array coils with the following abilities: (1) arbitrary coil geometry; (2) automatic calculation of complex current distribution, (3) B1 homogeneity map and frequency response
