Abstract
Any Surface Acoustic Wave Device (SAWD) could be treated as the set of interconnected Building Blocks (BB), such as transducer, delay line etc. To obtain the response of the SAWD the cascading of BBs should be done. To do cascading we introduced the modified type of the chain matrix (E-matrix) for each BB, which includes the information about the position of given BB inside the SAWD. The E-matrix introduced is suitable for any multichannel BB. The use of E-matrices reduces the process of cascading practically to multiplication of matrices independently on SAWD topology and the physical models, which are used to present BBs. Final E-matrix of the SAWD could be easily reduced to the standard Y-matrix. This approach is extremely suitable for the CAD systems. The examples of implementation of the algorithm for CAD and the results of simulations are presented
