Abstract
With the spread of portable electronic equipment such as notebook-type personal computers and handy terminals, low power low voltage ICs are strongly needed. Low voltage low power reduces total system power and therefore assures long periods for battery operation and back-up. This paper covers technical prospects of future low power low voltage memories. SRAMs have large potential for achieving low power low voltage operation
