Abstract
The trace referenced analysis model of the Personal System/2* (TRAMPS/2) is a unified system modeling tool used to assist developers in the evaluation and optimization of future Personal System/2 products. TRAMPS/2 offers flexibility to mix and match processor, cache, memory, and other system components to evaluate overall system performance. This paper provides an overview of TRAMPS/2, its trace collection methodology, Intel i386* DX and i386 SX model components development, and modelling results
