Abstract :
As the communication technology evolves, it will become possible to run real-time applications in distributed environments. To support such applications, it is desirable for middleware such as ODP, CORBA or OSF/DCE to run on real-time operating systems with real-time communication facilities. In this environment, the real-time trader which can perform trading service under time constraints is required to provide location. Transparency and late binding of distributed entities. In this paper, we propose a new request scheduling algorithm for a real-time trader and suggest a real-time connection management method on CMA. It will enable distributed real-time applications to run on existing middleware with real-time operating system and real-time communication support. Current work focuses on the functional architecture of the trader for a real-time trading, and the interaction mechanism between trader and real-time communication system
