Abstract
Coordinated transmitter and receiver processing, in the multi-user multi-input multi-output downlink system, is a better scheme for suppressing the multi-user interferences than only employing pre-coding at the transmitter. In this paper, we propose a pre-coding scheme to joint the zero forcing and minimum mean-square error pre-coding based on the generalized zero-forcing channel inversion pre-coding. Zero forcing pre-coding is employed at the transmitter to eliminate the interferences among users. At the receiver, we investigate minimum mean-square error filter for the purpose of optimizing the system. A non-iterative algorithm is studied instead of common iterative algorithms. Simulation results show that the proposed method can obtain higher sum rate and better tradeoff between complexity and performance.
