  • Abstract
    The present paper proposes a method for individual sound image generation using a loudspeaker array and nullspace-based sound field control for multiple users. In the proposed method, each reproduced sound is reduced in another control area by arranging control points, which control the sound pressure to be zero, so as to separate the users. The results of a numerical simulation reveal that the proposed method is superior to unprocessed sound reproduction by approximately 5 dB. We also determined that it is possible to increase the sound pressure in the listening area by selecting an appropriate number of control points for the lower frequency band.
