  • Abstract
The change of the output of generating unit mass wind farms can cause access the network voltage fluctuations, serious when can make voltage collapse. Based on reactive power compensator (STATCOM) synchronization of wind power system, and the grid STATCOM can exchange the perceptual reactive and capacitive reactive, restrain system voltage fluctuation, maintain the stability of the system voltage. Wind power system discussed in the basic working principle and STATCOM control strategy and establish the relevant model, and the simulation of the actual system. The simulation results show that STAT-COM to maintaining the system, improve the wind power system voltage stability has a good result.
