Abstract :
We propose a new method that can provide a mobile terminal with location information. Our proposed scheme automatically draws a location map (L-MAP) using a circular sequence of neighboring cells´ IDs. We describe the implementation method of distance-based location update method as an example of its application. Also, we propose new location tracking methods based on distance and direction using L-MAP, and evaluate its performance
