  • Abstract
Network survivability is the capability of a network to provide service in the presence of malicious attacks, system failures, or accidents. This paper surveys the issues and challenges in survivable wireless Ad Hoc network. A novel gravity law-based survivability model for Ad Hoc network is first proposed. The robustness of the wireless node and the gravitation between the nodes are measured. And considering the transfer direction of business data, a correction factor f(thetas) is introduced. The proposed survivability model and analytical result are validated by simulations results and analysis.
